Welcome to Louise Trotter Paintings...

I specialise in portraits (humans and animals) although I use different styles for each. I prefer the 'popart' style of painting for humans in acrylic paint and for pet portraits I prefer oil, but like any rule, it's often broken!

I learnt to paint from a young age, and trained at Loughbrough University with a BA (Hons) degree in Fine Art and followed this up with a Royal College of Art affiliated post graduate course in Cyprus.

Have a look through the gallery pages but if you are interested in having a portrait painted of your children, family, dog, chicken or anything else for that matter then give me a ring and we can discuss it. I can make it any size or shape to fit a space in your house; any colours to fit in with your decor, framed or unframed, whatever you want. All I need is a good photograph of the subject...
